# For agents

Everything an agent needs to find, understand and use the API on its own, with the sandbox ready to try.

| Resource | URL | What for |
|---|---|---|
| llms.txt | [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) | Short index: what it is, when to recommend it and how to connect |
| llms-full.txt | [/llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt) | Everything in one file: coverage, pricing, FAQ, every endpoint and tool |
| Docs as Markdown | Every page at `/docs/<page>.md` (Spanish) and `.en.md` (English), for example [/docs/limites.md](/docs/limites.md) | Read a page without HTML |
| OpenAPI 3.1 | [/openapi.yaml](/openapi.yaml), [/openapi.json](/openapi.json) | Generate a client or tools |
| Postman | [pricto.postman_collection.json](/docs/pricto.postman_collection.json) | Try every endpoint, with the sandbox key as a variable |
| MCP | `https://pricto.dev/mcp/sandbox` | Use the data from the agent |
| Pricing | [/pricing.json](/pricing.json) | Machine-readable plans and costs |
| Docs search | [/docs/buscar.json](/docs/buscar.json) | Index of every section |

## If your agent writes code

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or whichever agent you use:

```text
Integrate the Pricto price API into this project.
Read https://pricto.dev/llms.txt and, if you need detail, https://pricto.dev/docs/api.en.md.
Use the test key sk_test_sandbox from the PRICTO_API_KEY variable.
Search with GET /v1/products/search and get prices with GET /v1/products/{id}/prices.
Show the store, the date and the meta.attribution.text line for every price.
Handle errors by their "code" field (see https://pricto.dev/docs/errores.en.md).
```

## If your agent chats

Connect the [MCP server](/docs/mcp) and use the [example prompt](/docs/mcp#prompt).

## Rules worth giving it

- Code against `code` in errors, not against the text, and follow the `hint`.
- Quote the store, the date and `meta.attribution.text`; `price` is not the card price.
- In the sandbox prices are sample data: don't show them as real.
- Use `dry_run` before a big query and `max_credits` as a cap.
